Mary Gilardi
Mary Clifford Gilardi is a longtime resident of Marin County. She spent her childhood in Kentfield and attended Kindergarten at Kent School. In 1984, Mary moved to her present home in Kent Woodlands with her husband Richard and their three children. Soon after their children started school at Bacich and Kent, Mary resumed her teaching career as the art teacher at Bacich Elementary School. After 20 years at Bacich Mary retired in 2006. Since then, she has written articles for the Anthology of Historical Reflections pertaining to the “Art for Bears” and the “Artist of the Month” art programs at Bacich. At the present time she is a member of the Kentfield-Greenbrae Historical Society and is involved in the historical research committee.
