Vicki Sievers

Vicki Sievers began teaching in Kentfield in 1971 at the sixth grade level.  When Kent Elementary School was chosen as a site for California’s new Early Childhood Education program in 1973, she became part of the ECE teaching team and later assisted staff with the development of ECE programs at Bacich and Greenbrae schools.  She taught at the middle school from 1977 until retirement in 2006, taking turns at language arts, social studies, math, drama and art.  Always interested in the writing process, her curiosity about Bob Caine’s wish to chronicle District history led her to help launch and build the Anthology of Historical Reflections.
